Two pittas will have a mutually satisfactory level of passion. Generally a pitta will always try to dominate a relationship. Adolf Hitler was a classic example of pitta type where Mars and Sun dominated and his relationship with the world was completely out of control and he also drove one of his lovers to suicide.

Saturn (number 8) is a vata graha and vata is wind. So its tendency to excessive action prompts one to wander about like blown by the wind. Moon, Jupiter and Venus are kapha (wet) grahas and so they have a tendency to cause the body to gain weight. Vata type people are more airy, their minds are more scattered and spacey.

Pitta types are more fiery than others, have better digestion, but are hot headed whereas Kapha types are more heavier bodies and tend to store more water substances than others. Vata people reflect energies of number 2 and 7 (Moon), number 6 (Venus) and Rahu and they are quick and implusive, prone to unstable stamina as their energy comes in spurts.

Pitta people are hot blooded like number 9 (Mars and Ketu) and are irritable and anger easily. Generous to friends but harmful to opponents they have sharp memories, particularly for insults.

Kapha do not like excitation like vata and pitta and they are more stable, efficient, kind and considerate being more influenced by number 3 (Jupiter). There are also dual constitutions like vata-pitta and pitta kapha etc. Prakriti alignments enhance vasana alignments and constitutional clashes promote vasana collisions.

Relationships play a vital role in one's life.
The right choices can lead you to success and happiness, whereas stressful ones can ruin your life. But how much importance do we pay to this aspect while entering into relationships or marriage? The great Indian treatise on love, the Kamasutra has prescribed various kinds of unions which vary in accordance to the constitution and prakriti of the partners.

The second house in a birth chart represents the food, family and finances. People in a relationship are always discussing food, money and family, for one cannot have a good life if the nutritional, financial or familial spaces are misaligned. Food preferences affect relationships in many ways. Two vegetarians are more likely to find dining together a satisfying experience than one vegan and one carnivore. Number 1 and 4 governs bitter taste, number 2 and 7 ( salty), number 3 ( sweet), number 5 (mixed flavours), number 6 (sour), number 8 (astringent).

Ayurveda says that every person is characterized by three doshas, pitta, vayu or kapha and this constitutional physiological pattern is called prakriti. We each have a graha prakriti as well. Prakriti means ‘first reaction’. Jyotisha and Ayurvedic prakritis produce similar effects. Sun, Mars and Ketu are pitta grahas, Jupiter is kapha, Saturn and Rahu are vata, Moon and Venus are kapha and Vata and Mercury can be a mixture of any of the three dosha. A person with strong preferences to salty tastes since childhood will have Moon predominance in his astrological prakriti. Imbalances therefore occur in relationships where predominant doshas of the couple do not vibe. The vasana compatibility from the second bhavas ( house) of both charts is important. Two people with similar or complementary prakriti have better negotiating skills.
