This movie flopped miserably, and after this movie
he took on the surname Bachchan and never looked back
thereafter.
Dilip
Kumar the tragedy king was earlier Yusuf
Khaan, with the new name he shot to fame in movies
like Devdaas, Naya Daur and Mughal-e-Azam.
Sanjeev Kumar, earlier Haribhai Jarivala
became famous for his acting in Khilona, Trishul and

I have always advocated new phonetic names
since altering and deleting alphabets does not change
the way people pronounce your name. for eg. If one’s
name is altered from Navin to Naveen, people will
still call him the same way in Hindi, so no new
phonetic sound is generated to create a new identity.
Our own Bollywood actors can take cue from our successfull
yesteryears stars to go for new name phonetics to
have a starry future.
