Albert Einstein said:"God does not
play dice with the Universe." It is only through
understanding Karma, which does not need a personal
theistic view of a God, that we can even begin to
make sense of his statement.
Each
of us, if we accept an ultimate purpose of self-realization,
may find it useful to regularly access if we are
hitting the 'target' or 'sinning' by 'missing the
mark'?
A
New Testament writer perhaps echoed a sentiment
reminiscent of Karma and ultimate spiritual goals
when he wrote:
7
"Be not deceived: God is not mocked: for whatsoever
a man soweth, that shall he also reap."
8 "For he that soweth to his flesh shall of
the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to
the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting."
9 "And let us not be weary in well doing: for
in due season we shall reap, if we faint not."
Galatians 6:
I am not asking you to believe anything discussed
here nor am I interested in interfering with your
belief system.
I
have to tell you that for myself, I believe
in no deity, no institution, and no religion. I
believe in only two categories, one of those categories
is the ever-present altruistic potential of human
beings. I believe in myself as a human and I believe
in other human beings.
